Andy Rojo currently serves as USA Baseball’s Regional Director of the National Team Identification Series (NTIS) for the Southwest Region (Southern California, Hawaii, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado) and South Region (Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas). The NTIS program is USA Baseball’s most comprehensive player identification program for talented 11U to 16U baseball players pursuing an opportunity to compete for a spot on a USA Baseball national team (Team USA). Entering his 9th year with USA Baseball, he has helped identify some of the nation’s best amateur talent who have gone on to play for Team USA, top collegiate programs and become MLB draft picks.

Before joining USA Baseball, Rojo was the recruiting coordinator and hitting coach for Long Beach State under Head Coach Mike Weathers. Before coaching at Long Beach State, he served as Associate Head Baseball Coach at Riverside City College under the guidance of Head Coach Dennis Rogers.  Coach Rojo is the Owner and Director of Rising Prospects, an organization that conducts college exposure events for uncommitted high school baseball players. Through these events, he has successfully facilitated opportunities for student-athletes to showcase their skills in front of college coaches.

Coach Rojo has over 20 years of leadership experience in both player and coach development, his expertise in nurturing young talent and guiding players to the next level.  Coach’s eye for young talent and dedication to player development will provide St. John Bosco student-athletes with a unique opportunity to learn from someone who understands the nuances of what it takes to succeed at the high school level and continue to excel at the collegiate level – an aspiration for most of the young athletes at St. John Bosco, a dominant force across many sports in the fiercely competitive Trinity League.

Coach lives in Rancho Cucamonga with his beautiful wife Angie and their two sweet young daughters (Magnolia and Denali).
